PCR Interpretation
PCR kit configuration and diagnostic interpretation — two applications, one streamlined workflow.
The Story
A lab technician finishes a PCR run. In front of her: the device output — amplification curves, melt point analyses, Ct values across multiple channels. In the past, she would have interpreted this data manually, matched samples by hand, and created reports one by one.
Now she opens the PCR Interpretation app, uploads the device output. The system automatically detects the device format, matches wells to samples, and applies the evaluation parameters configured by the manufacturer. For multi-mix kits, it automatically consolidates results across plates. Where automatic matching falls short, she corrects via drag-and-drop.
The result: diagnostic reports per patient as PDF, batch exports for lab operations — fully documented, ready for the patient record.
The Partnership
Immundiagnostik AG needed a system that serves two distinct user groups across the entire PCR evaluation process: internal specialists who define evaluation parameters per kit type, and laboratory customers who analyze device output and generate diagnostic reports. The system had to cover diverse PCR methods, device manufacturers, and multi-mix kit workflows — within a unified interface.
What Liftric contributed
- Two-application architecture
- Configuration and Interpretation as separate applications, connected by a shared evaluation rule format.
- Multi-method support
- Cycle-based, melt curve, and combined evaluation — automatic adaptation to the capabilities of each PCR device.
- Auto-detection
- Automatic device format detection and well-to-sample matching via standardized naming conventions, with drag-and-drop correction as fallback.
- Export & reports
- Batch export for laboratory workflows and individual PDF patient reports for clinical documentation.
End-to-end workflow from kit configuration to patient report — in production use at Immundiagnostik AG and their customers worldwide.
