Full Stack Developer (m/w/d)

Are you looking for a role in which you can think, design and develop good software? Do you have experience in full-stack development and want to contribute your expertise to a meaningful product environment that relies on modern technologies and good collaboration?

We develop AI-based software solutions in the medical field and are looking for you to further develop our existing and new web applications - in the backend as well as in the frontend. In your role as a Full Stack Developer (m/f/d), you will work closely with product management, design and quality assurance and ensure a clean, understandable and maintainable code base.

Core responsibilities

with structure, purpose and influence

Backend development:

  • Development and maintenance of server applications with Spring Boot and Ktor
  • Implementation of server side rendering with modern templating engines (e.g. Thymeleaf, Freemarker, Kotlinx.html, JTE)
  • Design and implementation of RESTful APIs and web services
  • Database integration and optimisation
  • Monitoring and performance analysis with suitable tools

Frontend integration:

  • Integration of HTMX or Datastar for reactive user interfaces
  • Development of interactive web components
  • Further development of existing applications with Angular and SolidJS

Additional responsibilities:

  • Carrying out code reviews and quality assurance
  • Collaboration with design and product team
  • Documentation of architectures and APIs

Our tech stack:

  • Backend: Spring Boot / Ktor with Kotlin
  • Frontend: Angular and SolidJS - prospectively supplemented by server-rendered HTML with HTMX and Datastar
  • Database: PostgreSQL with jOOQ
  • Deployment: Docker, AWS
  • Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana, Loki

What you bring to the table

professionally and personally
  • Experience in full stack development - from web frontend to server logic
  • Good understanding of web standards (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and database connections
  • Practical experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Structured, testable and documented work is a matter of course for you
  • You are a team player: open in dialogue, solution-oriented in discourse - and not a person who has to shine alone
  • You have very good written and spoken English. A good command of German is a plus, but not a prerequisite.

What we offer

Part-time with impact. Responsibility with flexibility
  • Flexible working hours: We offer you real flexibility - in terms of working hours and organisation. Two attendance days per week in our office, the rest is flexible and mobile.
  • Further development: Each of our developers attends at least one conference or training course per year - we actively support your professional and personal development.
  • An environment with attitude: We are a team of around 20 people - mostly developers - who work on innovative, medically relevant products with professional depth, a lot of dialogue and as a team.
  • Short decision-making processes, genuine collaboration: We don't have long official channels, but flat hierarchies and a genuine interest in your input.
  • Clear product focus and cross-functional dialogue: Our developers work closely with product management, design and QA to create solutions with real benefits.
  • Focus on modern technologies: With us, you'll find modern, maintainable technologies - we avoid outdated legacy code and focus on continuous improvement.
